OK So, I've made a new Etomite Template - tested with 0.6.
Anyways, seeing as no CMS system would be complete without at least one dark and dreary 'Gothic' Template, I've created this one called, in a fit of originality, 'Gothic'. I only chose this scheme because I felt it would be fairly easy to implement for a first shot. I really only listen to Bauhaus on Tuesdays and Fridays and alternating Sundays.

Feedback in the forum is welcome.

Here's the poo:

This is derived from the AlexisPro Redux default template. (What do you want? It's my first shot.) Thus most of the changes are to the style sheet. In fact, the only changes to the template itself are the linked style sheet and the style applied to the bottom table row. To install, here's what you need to do:

Grab gothic.tar.gz Attached File  gothic.tar.gz   1.52K   938 downloads and extract it into assets/site

This should give you gothic.css in the site directory and a new directory called gothic/ which contains, at this point, only one image. I've set it up this way in order to keep things clean and accommodate future editions of this template. I may make more changes in the future and add more images. Until that time; don't be hasty and get rid of your AlexisPro files - this template still relies on them somewhat.

Here's the template itself:

<!-- Gothic Template: Version .1 October 3, 2004 -->

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN"
  "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd">

        <style type="text/css">
             @import url('assets/site/gothic.css');
        </style>
</head>

<body>
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="mainTable">

          </tr>
          <tr>
            <td align="left" valign="top"><img src="manager/media/images/_tx_.gif" alt="" height="4" /></td>
          </tr>
          <tr class="fancyRow2">
            <td align="left" valign="top" class="navigationHead">Navigation</td>
          </tr>
          <tr style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;">
            <td align="left" valign="top" class="navigation"
style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px;"><img
src="manager/media/images/_tx_.gif" alt="" height="4" />
<br />[[MenuBuilder?id=0]]<img
src="manager/media/images/_tx_.gif" height="4"
alt="" /></td>
          </tr>
        </table></td>
        <td class="pad" id="content"><h1>[*longtitle*]</h1>[*content*]</td>
      </tr>
    </table></td>
  </tr>
  <tr class="fancyRow">
    <td class="border-top-bottom smallText">&nbsp;</td>
    <td class="border-top-bottom smallText" align="right">
MySQL: [^qt^], [^q^] request(s), PHP: [^p^], total: [^t^],
document retrieved from [^s^].</td>
  </tr>
</table>
</body>
</html>

I've simply added it to the template manager and called it Gothic. You can call it whatever you want. I'm also attachng a screenshot so you can decide if you even want to be bothered with it.

Attached File  gothic.jpg   56.48K   3663 downloads

I hope to do some more that vary substantially in the future. Feedback in the forum is welcome. I'm always a little disappointed to see how sluggish this particular forum is. I would think it would be pretty lively. Maybe I'll start something <_<
