I took the existing German translation and added the phrases, that are new in Etomite 0.6.1 (RC1).

Feel free to have a look and improve it, or just use it. I have not always replaced ä, ö, ü by ä etc., because some of them appeared in the end user messages (for example in the context menu), which will look strange with that.

EDIT: I just updated the translation again, because I found a few strange translations while working with it. Also fixed some more &*uml; where they appeared for the end user. I will keep updating this file, whenever I find mistakes. Please send me any, if you find them!

Since I upgraded my site to 0.6.1 today, I thought it'd be the right time to rework the German language file for that version of Etomite.

I'm sorry, but here's another update. It became necessary mainly because the display of German umlauts was partly incorrect. This should now be fixed.

I found a bug, not really a bug but something wrong in Line 846:

</script type="text/javascript">location.href='access_denied'</script>

should be

<script type="text/javascript">location.href='access_denied'</script>

and then I also added:

$_lang['xLang'] = "Editor-Sprache:";
$_lang['xLang_message'] = "[nur für Xinha] Hier wählen Sie die Sprache des Editors. Die Tooltips, Symbol- und Statusleiste werden in der ausgewählten Sprache dargestellt.";

The last part is necessary for this patch.

Also, ich habe einen kleinen Fehler gefunden, den ich übrigens den englischen Kollegen auch nochmal mitteilen muss, und zwar in Zeile 846. Da war ein Slash zuviel (siehe oben). Und dann habe ich noch zwei Zeilen eingefügt, die ein Patch von mir benötigt. Ich glaube, der wurde vom Autor auch schon eingebaut.

I think it was put like that so that the browser didnt parse it

I don't think so because "<" was put there as "&lt;" so the browser wouldn't parse it and I still consider it as an error.

By the way, it is also wrong in the english version! To whom I have to write in order to fix it? Might it be you, Dean?!?

The leading </script> tag was accidentally used and has been corrected in the code base...

Maybe i'm wrong but afaik Javascript message boxes do not interpret HTML codes, so the following code

$_lang['confirm_delete_role'] = "Sind Sie sicher, daß Sie diese Rolle entfernen möchten?";

is shown as

Sind Sie sicher, daß Sie diese Rolle entfernen möchten?

instead of

Sind Sie sicher, dass Sie diese Rolle entfernen möchten?

That's just an example, there are a couple of other js alerts.

Could someone please fix this?

So bald ich ein dokument lösch kommt da diese meldung bei der Konfigurationstest.

" Ein oder mehrere Optionen der Konfiguration sind fehlerhaft:
Konfigurationswarnung: 'Die Sprachdatei enthält eine falsche Anzahl an Einträgen.'

Was bedeutet das?
Die Datei für die zur Zeit ausgewählte Sprache (german) enthält nicht die gleiche Anzahl an Einträgen wie die der Standardsprache. Dies ist kein kritisches Problem, bedeutet jedoch, daß Sie die Sprachdatei aktualisieren sollten. "

Kann mir da jemand weiterhelfen. Ist das große problem oder vielleicht so eins wo man übergehen kann.

Der Fehler ist nicht dramatisch, du könntest ihn getrost ignorieren. Wenn du es trotzdem abstellen willst:

In manager/includes/lang/german.inc.php sind die Einträge für $_lang['im_plugin_message'], $_lang['im_plugin_base_dir_message'], $_lang['im_plugin_base_url_message'] und $_lang["which_editor_message"] jeweils doppelt vorhanden, du kannst also je einen entfernen.

In manager/includes/lang/english.inc.php fehlen die Einträge für $_lang['xLang'] und $_lang['xLang_message']. Entweder trägst du sie in english.inc.php nach oder du löschst sie in german.inc.php.

Hi, This looks to me it's from IPB and not Etomite, are you sure this is a Etomite Error ?
(Sorry, German is not my native language, but I'm trying anyway )
