I was wondering if it is difficult to develope a MS Word module for editting the web site. This way ppl can add news articles in there known envirement and will be a huge stap forwards in the website industry.

Several of the WYSIWYG editors allow MS Word documents to be pasted into them and they will convert the Word tags to HTML compatible... FCKeditor is one of these editors and once additional integration techniques have been completed this editor will be an optional plug-in module for Etomite... Xstandard, although only Windows compatible, is another WYSIWYG editor that converts MS Word codes and it will also be adapted for integration into Etomite in the near future... Etomite itself doesn't have its own editor but, instead, uses the existing WYSIWYG editors which are freely available for integration... In light of the sheer number of people using MS-Word I'm sure that we'll be seeing additional editors becoming available in the near future...

You think that is funny but for many web developers using etomite and delivering it to clients as an end-product, having this MS Word plugin for some of the editors (Xhinia, etc.) is almost necessary.

From the end-user standpoint, having the plugin for stripping the Word tags and putting into HTML is extremely handy for them....lots of their documents and things are in MS Word. Many end users are not HTML - literate nor very web-savvy, for that matter. Keeps me in business!

The less these kinds of clients know about developing websites the better off I am in my business!

Thanks, guys!
