I'm getting a wierd error, everytime I try to save something with javascript in it, either a snippet, a theme, whatever, I get a forbidden error. Anybody know what could be causing this?? Etomite version is 0.6. Thanks in advanced for anybody that can help me.

Also, are you using one of those free hosts that inserts adverts in pages?

Are you using 0.6.0 or 0.6.1 RC3 (which is stable)

try deleting your install and installing 0.6.1 RC3 (from beta.etomite.com) - to see if it is a problem with the old js menus etc....

If you'd like me to take a hands-on look into this for you just PM me your server spec's and I'll see what I can come up with... I've never heard of anything like this happening with any Etomite installations that I can recall...

i've done a completely clean installation, deleted the database and renamed it, deleted all etomite files and folders and re-uploaded version 0.6.1 RC3 and set all the permissions and it still doesn't work, anybody got any ideas??

Did you try using another computer/browser?

Btw, your hosting website http://www.jatoleconomy.com/ seems to be unavailable?

New install, as administrator, no role.
"Forbidden" appears saving some snippets, for example Newslisting; with other snippets the systems saves without problems...

Sounds like your host is blocking the insert of rows into the table containing some keywords which it thinks could be hacking attempts (mod_security)... if so, there's not a lot you can do about it...

Using PHPMyAdmin or Etomite still attempts to save the same data to the server which is the problem. Basically, you will need to work within the server settings regardless of the User Interface. I spent a lot of time diagnosing a similar issue with a email snippet and found that I could not save the text "BCC" by any means and had to change my content to suit the server settings. You will probably have to do the same or move host.

Even if your host gets the security issues adjusted, don't attempt to use JS in documents... While you can use JS in Snippets and Chunks, you'll run into problems with Documents...
