I paste URL's in and sketch out a pages text etc on it and it works great. But if I don't save the page first, then go back into it, if I try to change the url's once pasted the actual hyperlinks often get corrupted. After saving it I can change them on screen.
Plus the stylist menu is excellent. Cut and past notepad text, change formats and page done. I love it!
I also notice it's 5 all on the poll board so maybe I should have voted to keep it as an alternative - how can I change my vote?

I mistakenly marked "ditch" when I meant to mark "Don't ditch" back when this poll first went up

1. I like the image and document linking features and so do my clients. They don't understand html or how to make a link or insert an img tag.
Personally, I don't care which editor Etomite chooses, BUT IT MUST include some sort of insert image, insert document, insert link, and possibly an insert etomite page link (by clicking on a list of existing Etomite pages would be nice). Sorry, had to throw in that feature request.
I noticed FCK and TinyMCE still do not include these options like XINHA does.
Thanks for asking!

I find that Xinha often displays tables, linebrakes and paragraphs differently than the real layout of the saved page. FCKeditor works better for me. I do like the ImageManager and file linker in Xinha though.
Using two mods that integrate Xinha's ImageManager and file linker with FCKeditor (I use 2.3) I get the best of two worlds (The mods can be found in the unofficial mods forum if anyone is interested). I have modified the editor's config file to set my own toolbar layout and I must say I'm finally quite happy with my editor setup!
I cast my vote for "leave Xinha as an alternative" though.

And for all the people who are in love with their image manager: Here's a nice thing: This image manager is also forked to function as a plugin for TinyMCE or FCKEditor (although I prefer imanager/ibrowser from mmjaeger which also works like a charm.)
For me it's definately said:
XINHA must disappear.
Oh, btw: The reason FCK2.3 is loading this fast, is because of the fact that they put their complete toolbar in ONE image-file.
