Is Etomic only used for maintaining complete sites?
Or is it possible to use it only for 'news' articles, and place it in an existing site?
I'd like to use Etomic, looks very promising, but only to maintain news, and show it in a content-frame in an already existing site.
Is it possible? I can't find any descriptions of this use of Etomic.

The way Etomite is designed (templates + snippets + content) makes it very well possible to achieve your goal. However, I think that if you've had a taste of it you'll want to convert the rest of your site as well

You definitely owe it to yourself to give the Etomite CMS a try as users keep finding more and more hidden capabilities every day... If you're looking for a web based development tool, and not merely a portal system, you'll have to look long and hard to find a package better suited for the task...
