I've started to construct a site that I can use for testing purposes while I update the EtoGal, EtoGalThumb, EtoGalGallery, EtoGalList and EtoGalSearch snippets for consistency and known fixes to the Etogal snippet. As a first step, it shows all the main dosplay modes of EtoGal itself (since I don't use these on my sites, I needed a way to test them as I change the code to make sure I don't break them!)
At the moment, the Etogal test - galleries section is reasonably complete. The other sections still need to be filled in.

this site now includes sections for all the snippets (EtoGalSrchForm is on the search page, and EtoGalList on the sitemap and sitemap images pages).
There is also a mock-up of the Etogal Admin function.

This looks very nice, mike!
I am glad that you have a better demo site now then I provided (hugelmopf.ohost.de/etomite). I got a bit lazy of keeping that one pretty, because somebody decided to delete all galleries which I created for testing the various features. Allowing people admin access so they can test everything is cool, but I can't fix things every once in a while just because somebody is still in his childish stage.
So, good that you have a showcase here, and if somebody wants to test the admin stuff (of a quite old Etomite/etoGal installation), they can use my site, as long as it is still online.
Cheers,
Frank

Thanks Frank!
I'll eventually move the site to a different account (my ISP rather than a 'proper' host) once testing is complete. At that point I'll consider again setting up full admin access to a single gallery.

Hey - how did you achieve this "childgalleries" listing? http://www.efikim.co.uk/etogal/Gal.html

[ [EtoGal11b3?display=childgalleries]]
One of the display formats hugelmopf wrote into Etogal 1.0. You need the child galleries to children of the page in the manager page hierarchy.
