A little bit late, but i tested my manager page out again, and the save button is de-activated, as suggested earlier....

I know it's not nice, but I don't want to spend ages trying to get it to work with a browser I don't have access too...
...I guess I shouldn't ask about support for Voyager on my Amiga then :roll:
:lol: ... May ALL browser co-exist in harmony, one day... :lol:

It just seems to wierd that all other buttons work fine in the manager...it's just the SAVE button that doesn't work.

Try this:

Open manager/actions/dynamic/mutate_content.dynamic.action.php
Find document.mutate.save.click();
Replace it with document.mutate.submit();

Maybe that'll help. :whatthe:

Yea, I thought it sounded weird when u first explained the save button situation, but after seeing not even hi-lite, and the other buttons work fine..hmmmm...nm, as stated in earlier posts, Safari isnt a commonly used browser(I use IE5.2 when im online on the mac)...

Hmm the whole reason I have been trying safari is that I.E. on the MAC doesn't work in the manager. Keeps coming up with J.S. errors. I.E. is dead on the mac anyway.

The script that 'makes' the button is proper DOM scripting. For some reason, if it's not doing it, then Safari doesn't support full-DOM scripting yet. Maybe I've done something wrong, but I doubt it as it works fine in all other browsers, just about.

Fiscus, how about trying it in a Mozilla browser?

FWIW, I'm a pretty big Mac-head and will be trying to get the admin to work in Safari (latest as of 10.3.5). I'll report back if I make any headway. If it will work in Safari, it should pretty much work anywhere then.

I've also noticed in Safari lacks the custom contextual menus (right-clicks) on the admin, to go along with the non-functioning buttons (all of them). I'll be happy to test out any ideas or suggestions... it's just going to take a little while to get oriented ;).

Hi,

I was looking to see if I can get Etomite to work with Konqueror but unfortunately HTMLArea doesn't work with it.

But I remembered this thread, and also that HTMLArea works with Safari, so there's hope for Konqueror :-)

Webfx buttons are nice, though I don't see what they add apart from a little less code.....

Remon

Edit: Me sleeps, should have read this thread before... :oops:

Anyway, nice to read the solution for the "save" button problem after I found it out myself ;-)
Pity konqueror doesn't support HTMLArea....

The manager works fine with Mozilla Firefox except that when you hover over an item, the tooltip appears as a single line instead of a multiline thing. This is bad when I'm trying to find the id of a particular item but there are ways around that.

Strangely enough, if I use Camino, the tooltips appear nicely but other parts are messed up.
