Attached are the latest tested versions of the three main etoGal files.

There are only minor bug fixes from the last released versions in these files; if you aren't having problems, don't change!

Update: EtoGalThumb11 replaced by EtoGalThumb12preliminary this has been in use for some time on my sites with no problems. Includes support for selecting by text content ("subject") and the support necessary for using 'thickbox' slideshows. (See message below)

I'm finally beginning to make progress tidying up and gathering together the various patches I have, and deciding which to keep and which to bin.

Attached is a revised version of EtoGalThumb, version 1.2 preliminary. I won't be making any substantive changes apart from tidying comments and layout.

I've released this now as there are two additions that may be of use:

1) an added replaceable parameter for styles, to allow implementation of 'thickbox' type slideshows (as discussed in 'wishlists'
2) an additional snippet parameter to allow selection of images by 'subject'. This isn't an image recognition system written in PHP but uses a simple text search in image titles and descriptions (used in the child pages from 'images by subject' page on Rogue Gene Collective)

A while ago (quite a long time ago) ChrisD had a problem with etogal that was down to some invalid entries in the database table. I wrote a very simple snippet to check for what seemed to be the problem when we were trying to diagnose it.

Here is a slightly extended version of the snippet, which checks for one form of invalid database entry (gallery id equal to zero, which can't be valid) and also checks the existence of thumbnail and full sized file for each valid entry. It does not attempt to make any fixes.

You'll need to set the $path_to_galleries and $gtable internal variables to suit your installation.

I put this on a page in the repository area, rather than a page on the main site.

Should I be using the previosly-posted EtoGalThumb12preliminary.php? The latest one posted, does not work.

Got an error which said, "[#10173] We could not find the attachment you were attempting to view."
