Where would I go about changing to allow EtoGal to support GIF files? I assume it doesn't support them now since I tried to upload a few and nothing happened.
I'm working on a screen shot gallery and don't really want to use JPGs.

I think you would need to change the 'createthumb function' and the piece of code that checks whether the file extention is 'jpg' or 'jpeg'. Check with the PHP manual that your version of PHP supports GIF too.
To make it easier to read later, you might want to change some variable names too.
Supporting both GIF and JPG would be a bit harder.

I was just taking a look at your sites! Proof buddy is exactly the sort of program I was looking for. I am just downloading it now to try it out!
Thanks, it looks perfect.

Just discovered it's not GPL. I was thinking about trying to Eto it but can't now. What a shame. I didn't complete the installation but it still looked superb.

I have an incredible amount of respect for those that are willing to spend as much time as it takes to write software and then release it out for anybody to use and modify at no cost. And, I considered it with ProofBuddy, but just couldn't see myself a year down the road staying motivated with an open source product. I'm amazed (and thankful) that there are those like Dean and Ralph (and Alex before them) that are willing to put the work in for an open source project.

Maybe there's a perfect explanation, but your ProofBuddy site (contrary to your other sites I must say) doesn't seem to have a visible or invisible backlink to Etomite

Honestly, I never noticed it wasn't there. Tell ya what, I'm going to start a new thread in the post-installation board so this one doesn't go any farther off-topic

Nutter,
Did you ever get round to adding GIF support?
