Is there a way to try/test certain procedures, like Snippets, before I put them online?

try them out on a page in the repository first, then move to where you want them.

the first page in the manager directory tree. Its unpublished, so doesn't appear in the menu, and is a folder with other pages in it. If you put a page in there it won't appear on your sites menu, so you can publish it and check it works.

I'm sorry, I don't see it.
I have added a picture of the Menu Structure.
Can you point it out for me?
And also, to test it, do I just call up the item_page number?

Apperently you removed the entire repository. Just create a folder in your root and make it unpublished. Any document you put in there won't be visible in the menu...

It should be noted that there were several pages in the original Repository that may be required by Etomite... The 404-Page Not Found document, for one... B)

Okay, I will put the 404.htm back in.
There is a 404 page on our server.
It is in the main root, while Etomite has its own folder.

Any other files that you think SHOULD BE in the repository?

The 404 page is the only document that is required, unless your site is set to use its own... B)
