Hallo.

Once more in englisch :
if i want to post an image in my etomite editor window by clicking on the insert image button in Xinha, i get nothing but a blank page. The pop-up does open but there is no content in it.
Do i have to install certain features on my webserver in order to get the xinha-image manager working ?
By the way : there is no error-message.
Thank you for your support.

Etomite-Version : 0.6.1.
Xinha-Version : Revision: 461

have you set your base path in the etomite configuration for the image manager? it will be something like /path/to.your/public_html/assets/images/

Yes I've set the path. The strange thing is , that i don't get any error when i try to open the image manager. The window stays blank.

Please don't bump your post, especially on a language-specific forum...

I put "php_flag display_errors on " in .htaccess And now the page is not blank anymore. it contains errors:

1) : Notice: Use of undefined constant E_NONE - assumed 'E_NONE' in /var/www/vhosts/fundsforhope.nl/httpdocs/funds/manager/media/xinha/plugins/ImageManager/config.inc.php on line 20

I searched for this error and found only 3 topics. First topic never had a solution, second topic also no solution, and this topic got a answer that this topic was already solved??????

the other errors: Attached File  error.jpg   40.3K   28 downloads
are also once mentioned in this forum. This topic is from 2004 and 2005.
Can someone please help me.

Also it is possible to move this topic to the Etomite v0.6.1.x Support ?. I have the feeling that more people are looking into that part and maybe I can get more help.

I contacted my webhoster and all he could think of was that php version is 5 and that etomite was made for PHP 4. So unfortunately I do not have a webhoster that is willing to help me a lot. :-(

@ hellenb

The image you posted with the errors doesn't appear to include all of the text for the error messages... Without seeing the entire errors it is difficult to determine whether this is either an Etomite or Image Manager configuration issue or if it is server related...

Hi,
I think my problem is solved. Xinha uses pear.php.net which wasn't installed. Now that it is, the image editor works!

And all this because of my webhoster (Webreus). I retrieve what I said about them not so cooperative, on the contrary they did help me. I think I was just to desperate about not finding a solution for my problem. So my greatest thanks goes to Webreus, they are cheap :2c: :2c: and they give great service :!: :!:

I am very happy now to continue finishing the website

Thanks for the input regarding the Pear library, hellenb... I'm sure that bit of information will prove helpful to others having similar problems... :eto:
