Hi

I am using etomite 0.6.1 and wysiwyg editor tinyMCE 2.0.6.1.
I am fairly new to both.

I have some problems with the Insert edit/link of wysiwyg editor tinyMCE.
I am able to link to pdfs but i need to type in the Link url.
I am not able to use the browse button feature it has.

It keeps on giving me an error message.
Error: 'tinyMCEPopup.windowOpener.mcFileManager' is null or not an object

I really need to fix the browse problem.

Did anyone experiences the same problem?
And does anyone have some advice or a solution?

Thanks for your time.

Xinha is much easier to use when it comes to linking to files....

But I am pretty certain that the bug you are experiencing has been covered before in the forums

What do the rest of the TinyMCE users do.

I just want a simple link, i would like to underline a word and browse for the pdf or document i would like to link to that word.

Thanks for your time.

I do type in the complete URL whether it links to a file (pdf, doc, or whatever) another website. ...Or in case it should link to one of my own etomite pages, then I use [~id~].

@Dean: Thank you for merging/moving the topic while I was typing this  Took me a little while to figure out why I got an error on replying.

Isn't the FileManager a commercial addon, that isn't shipped with TinyMCE to start with?

That's what I am saying... I think what you are trying to use needs the commercial addon from the creators of the TinyMCE package....

Dean is correct... The error you are receiving is due to the fact that you don't have the commercially available file manager installed... The way TinyMCE ships it will post this error with standard installs... This is not an Etomite bug, nor a TinyMCE bug - it is normal functionality for the product... :eto:

Do you have the commercial addon?Because that might be the problem.
