Hi,

I have managed to set up my first Etomite installation but now have a problem with xinha not loading when edit link is clicked in manager. It seems to have something to do with file paths or permissions but I can't quite work out how to resolve it. I am fairly new to Apache/PHP, having only recently started to move clients over from a Windows/ASP hosting platform.

The site resides in the folder "/home/easywebl/public_html/tahp" in my reseller account at the web host.

Xinha works fine when manager is accessed via my own domain (e.g. "http://www.mydomain.com/tahp/manager") but xinha fails to load when manager is access via the client's domain that points to the above folder (e.g. "http://www.clientdomain.com/manager"). I have tried changing the URLs and filepaths in configuration to reflect the client's domain as the root, but wasn't able to get it working.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Anton

Double-check your path settings in your Etomite configuration... The paths don't always get calculated properly on Windows based servers and adjusting the paths usually resolves the problem... If that doesn't help then:

Please supply us with additional information so we can better assist you in resolving this issue... The following information, complete with version/release will be of great help... If the issue is browser-specific also include browsers tested and the results of each...

Server Operating System
Server Software
PHP version
MySQL

Hi Ralph,

It's a Linux/Apache server, not Windows (I'm progressively moving sites to Linux/Apache/PHP from a Windows/ASP platform on a different host; this site is my first Etomite install).

I tried changing "mydomain.com/clientfolder" to "clientdomain.com" in the various path and URL fields in config but couldn't get xinha to load when manager is accessed from "clientdomain.com/manager", hence the post above.

(I have temporarily reverted back to accessing the manager via "mydomain/clientfolder/manager" with the original url/path settings.)

Here are some details of the install:

Etomite: 0.6.1 Final
Apache: 1.3.36
PHP: 5.1.4
MySQL: 4.1.19

Thanks,
Anton
