Hi

I am useing the Xinha Wysiwyg editor.
Everything is working fine but i would like to remove some of the functions it has and only keep the nessecary ones.

I have already removed some plugins at the Etomite configuration, Interface & editors settings.
But i still need to remove more plugins.

I am still new at scripting, but i would really like some help please.

If you also know of xinha documintation, that would also be a big help

Thanks

I'd try the Xinha homepage at http://xinha.python-hosting.com/, I'm sure there's some documentation there.

Can you explain the need to remove components from the editor...??? Is this need related to upload times, stability issues, eliminating user options, or what...???

I just want to make it easier for my user, by eliminating most of the options they wont need in the first place.
All they are going to do is replace text, images and down loadable documents.
If it also helps with upload times and stability issues it will only be a bonus.

I like to make all my websites as simple as possible for the client, as i believe it makes it more user friendly and easier for them to use.

Now, I don't know how other developers handle their customers but once I have a site up and running I simply tell them to stay out of the configuration area - without even making permissions changes... If I can't trust them to stay the hell out of there then I don't need them for a customer... That being said I really have a tough time with all the need for layer upon layer of permissions and showing and hiding of settings... Educate your customers instead of relying on smoke and mirrors... It really works... But that's just me... If you need to know more about Xinha in order to make you particular install more secure then I'd suggest reading the documentation just like other developers do...
