Been having grief with Xinha so thought I'd try FredCK...

One issue I'm facing - it appears to be mangling up all the snippet calls on saving (or switching between html and grapgic views)

[!MySnippet?product=test&price=free!]
is becoming
[!MySnippet?product=test&price=free!]

Which means the snippets are never actually run.

Been unable to spot how to fix it - anyone able to point me in the right direction ?

Ideally I dont want an editor at all - i just want a blank space i can type html into, all this gui/wywsig stuff simply annoys me, so all I ever do within this test setup of etomite, is switch to raw-html anyway.

to disable your editor, you can either do it on a per-page basis, by unticking the RTF option on the page editor, or do it on a system-wide basis via the Etomite Configuration Pages.

When in XHTML mode FCKeditor will convert & characters into & which makes them XHTML compliant... This isn't "mangling",as you put it, it is done by design...

Ok, I accept its a "feature" :P

Many thanks to Dean for pointing out how I turn the editor off completely - exactly what I wanted, just hadnt spotted it before.
