Hi!

I am wondering, how to hide my site "sitemap" in the regular menue.

I'll paste it in the footer. So I don't need it in the menue.

Then I am wondering how to modify the source code of each site of the domain. Because I want to fill in seperate Metas for each site.

Thanks,
Steffen

You can either Un-Publish the document or move it into your hidden Repository folder... If you are intending to link to the document then you would want to move it to the Repository, so it doesn't show up in your menu, but would leave it Published so it can be rendered when manually called...

Perfect. I put it in the hidden Repository folder. That works.

But how to modify the source code of each site?

I don't understand what you are trying to achieve.

I want to fit in the Meta-tags by my own. For each site of the project.

Because in front of every site title there stands the project name.

You really need to read the documentation... It sounds like there might be a translation problem here as I don't think English is Hurz primary language... Meta Tags can be auto-generated based on Keywords for each Document... I'm guessing that you are referring to the entire Site as a Project and accidentally referring to a Document as a Site...

Yes, you're right, my primary language is german. Sorry for my bad english. ;)

That's what I don't want to do.

No I am referring to a document as a site. I want to edit the source code of each document.

You can create more than one template, and assign each document a different document?

I'm really struggling to visualize what you are trying to achieve - maybe if you write it in German, maybe someone like Jelmer can help?

Hmmm ok. Thats too much work to create a template for each lower site of the homepage.

I'll find an other way.

Thanks a lot!

Ist das irgendwie möglich?

If you are trying to change one part of a template on a per-page basis, why don't you just change the main template?

Keywords are set on a per-page basis.

I am not happy with the generated Meta-Tags. (title/description)

Therefore I want to fit them in manual.

Ah ok - Yes, it's possible.

Look in your template for [!MetaTagsExtra!]

You can replace it with the other options...

[*pagetitle*]
[*longtitle*]
[*description*]

That JUST outputs the content of that page's field... so you'll need to put tags around it, like <title></title>

Each one is set on a per-page basis

When you are referring to the "source code" do you mean the Page Template or the Document Content...???

I'll try it tomorrow.
