It is working for me.
Maybee you should change your snippet call?
I'm using this snippet call:
[!TripTrackerGallery?photosfolder=assets\images\album\soccermatch\images\!]
Also you could check permissions on images directory.

Look closer... Mine has a leading ./ and uses slashes instead of backslashes...That's someone else's example there ralph..

I can't figure out how I get this snippet working. I just want a page where I put a link to the gallery, I've got the page, but getting the link right.. it looks so simple.
Can someone reply with a step-by-step how-to?

Loving this snippet btw. One thing though, and i'm not qualified enough to make the changes, Is there an easy way to change the Slideshow link to that of a random image pulled from the appropriate gallery folder?
In other words what I am trying to achieve is to have each root gallery display a random image from each of their own respective galleries, instead of displaying the Slideshow link. Has anyone considered this?
Another thing i thought might be useful is to extend the above so that each root gallery can show the first 5 images from their respective gallery folders (unless there are less than 5 images in the first place, other wise display what there is). This
would allow for a better display possibilites imho.
Any thoughts or takers?
Cheers!
