Provides a means of providing core content for specific areas of a template and allowing each document to append, prepend, or override the core content with alias-specific content. Core content is defined as any Snippet and/or Chunk, and alias-specific content is defined as Snippets and/or Chunks of the same name prefixed with "`alias`-" (e.g. becomes when loaded on a document with the alias 'home')

Has anyone used this, or seen/have examples of its usage?

I'm researching some ways to use two boxes on my template (using the h_free_software template) and want to find out how I can have one template, but double the use of those two boxes (divs) by having them display different content depending on which document is loaded in the browser.

Not chunks...but content accessible to the client via the tree in the Eto manager.

I think that is what getsideBar is for... There's an updated version towards the end of the thread and links to Ralph's site where it is explained in detail with demos. It can dynamically pull in relevant content from existing pages based on the current page's alias (amongst many other things).
