When I insert an image in TinyMCE, there is an automagic function that adds border="0" to the image-tags. Since I prefer xhtml 1.0 strict, this ruins the validation. It is impossible to get rid off, unless I switch off rich text, since editing the HTML in TinyMCE put the annoying attribute back when I hit update in the HTML-editor. I am all woozy after skimming through dozens of javascript files wich I hardly understand much off. So if you can tell me how to stop this from happening, I will be very glad.

Give us some release information for both Etomite and TinyMCE... You can get the release number for TinyMCE by hitting the Help question mark button... I was unable to duplicate this in the new release but I did get both the width and height attributes...

Etomite Content Management System 0.6.1 Final (PL:3) (Prelude)
TinyMCE 2.0.2 - Release date 2006-01-24

I must add that this happen when the images are inside an anchor tag, like <a href="blabla" title="link"><img src="blabla.jpg" alt="image" border="0" /></a>.

Nope... I still can't duplicate it in 0614 with TinyMCE Version: 2.1.0 (2007-02-13)... Maybe it's fixed... It does the same for me in 0613 with TinyMCE Version: 2.0.2 (2006-01-24) so my guess is that the newer code has this bug resolved...

OK. I will update, and see if it straightens up.

Edit: Ehhh ... It looks as if there are no updates under Download, and I'm running the latest package. Where are 0614?

We are just finishing up the 0614 release and it should be available by the 15th of this month... We're just finalizing a few last minute feature additions before closing the code base for new features... Once released, we will ONLY be performing bug fixes... All development efforts will be directed towards the new code base, Cocoon...
