When this error has arisen in the past its been because of a failure in user authentication and access rights. I think the code that controls access rights has changed in 0.6.1.4, but I don't know exactly what has changed.

I've only moved one small site over to 0.6.1.4 so far, and that isn't showing any problems with EtoGal, so can't offer any direct advice.

Which user authentication snippet were you using?

There are a couple of older threads in this section dealing with permissions issues which might possibly be relevant, eg http://www.etomite.com/index.php?sh...c=5949&st=0

And just in case, what server configuration (PHP version, Web server, OS etc.)

I'm using EtoGal successfully with two 0614 sites.

I had etogal working with 6.1.3 but after upgrading to 6.1.4 I had lots of trouble getting etogal to work. I checked all the authentication issues and reset permissions on each folder. Then it seemed to be working. But now after about a week, it has stopped working again. Nothing has changed.

Does anyone have any ideas.

If needed I can PM login details. I've been looking at this one for hours and just keep going around in circles.

HELP!!!!

What do you mean by "not working", and what is your environment?

To be honest, 'it worked and then it stopped working' would seem to imply a change, even if it wasn't a change you made - possibly a change in the hosting server configuration.
