On a new install (Version 0.6.1.4 Final (PL:4) I can't see thumbnail images in the ImageManager ... I almost tried everything. ".thumbs"-Folder present and correctly 777-chmoded, thumbnail files correctly created and available, but no way to see them ..

I don't have this editor on my development install but will try to get it installed, tested, and working... No guarantees, however...

Does your server have GD installed?

Great job you're doing with Etomite. Till 0.6.1.3 I've been satisfactorily using iBrowser/TinyMCE, but at this point, for my customers the ability to preview images is essential - and w/o iBrowser it flops!

GD is properly installed, thumbs are created by uploading of imgs ...

(if desired I can send u access data to my actual (under development) site with the problem)

SOLVED!

SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 1158 is not allowed to access /var/www/web5/html/assets/images/.thumbs/tumb_fritz.jpg owned by uid 33 in /var/www/web5/html/manager/actions/static/files.static.action.php on line 387

SAFEMODE issue ... - just changed "false" to

$IMConfig['safe_mode'] = true;

at line 119 in ../manager/media/xinha/plugins/ImageManager/config.inc.php and it worked out!
