Work has begun on the Etomite 0.6.1.5 Prelude bugfix release... The 0.6.1.4 release has been very stable, overall, but are still a few minor issues which are being addressed... If you know of any bugs, and feel that we don't know about them, please post them here as well as in the Bug Tracker... Remember, we are only fixing bugs, not adding new features... Now is the time to speak up if you would like to see something fixed...

We are still in the process of determining how we will handle support and development of the Prelude code base once Cocoon is released - which is a ways off still... Due to the vast differences in the packages we will most likely need to have a separate forum for Cocoon, but we'll have to wait and see at this point...

Using IE 7, I have problems getting Xinha to work as the editor - sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. This may be a Xinha problem (plus a third party add-on), but I really like the style sheet that shows your styles on the side when creating pages. If there was a simpler editor that showed your style sheet styles, that would be great.

Sometimes when I clear the cache a new window pops open to show the files. I close that window and go back to the manager layout. However, it's doesn't happen all the time, so I'm not sure if it's a bug.

Ralph, weren't you working on a new Xinha integration with the latest codebase?

Yeah, Dean, I do seem to recall that I was working on new WYSIWYG integrations up until I had to devote more time into putting food on the table...

Just yesterday I noticed that there was no keyword input fields in one of my installs, it had me puzzled. I'll check it out further.

In my 0614 upgrades (sites with keywords already entered) I have the keyword fields.
In sites using a fresh install and database, I get no keyword input fields.

Can those of you with new 0614 installs confirm if you are able to add new keywords? Then check your 0614 upgrades.

That is a matter of the plugins you're trying to use. just turn the offending one off and you'll be back in business.

I went around and around with this for a frustrated client last week - it ended up being if there was www in his url or not. He kept getting 'permissions denied' if the full url wasn't matching the absolute path to the manager.

I also have had issues with plugins, though.

I have some installs on IIS where I can't set the site status to 'offline' - checking that box doesn't show the site unavailable message, you just see a generic page not found error. I don't know if anyone else has this but i haven't found any posts regarding it.

1) When a folder is set to hide from the menus, it's link style doesn't change to gray.
2) Deleted documents are still visible in menu snippets (I can dig up this info if it's deemed a worthy "bugfix")
3) I'd like to see some snippets added to the default install. Is that a possibility?

I can confirm this happens on an *nix server when the page is viewed in IE. It probably has to do with the header sent.

Do you have a typical install of Xinha that works and what plugins work? I can install this on different websites and sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. All I really want is for my styles to display.

I've only played with xinha over the last month but like it for the styles as well... The only plugins i use are paste as text, unformat, and spell checker. When testing I thought that checking both CSS and Dynamic CSS gave me some problems but abondoned them because I really just need the stylist. I'm using the install available from the downloads area. (sorry to jack this post....)

I can also confirm that under some circumstances, that I haven't investigated, ALL doc tree entries turn the disabled color... But not that I think about it, this can only be happening in my development copy as that's the only place where there is coding for showinmenu... Ian is the only other person who might experience this problem as he has a test copy of that code...

I have experienced this too, right after dragging a doc into another folder.

I added to the bugtracker yesterday the fact that $_SESSION['lastlogin'] returns blank when logged in. I have checked the database and an entry exists there to be returned. In the Index.php file, there are duplicate entries of $_SESSION['lastlogin']='$row['lastlogin'], and $_SESSION['lastlogin']='$lastlogin'. $lastlogin can not be found in the file with a search. Also, it still returns blank with the second line removed. (I was trying to use this variable to return a "your last log-in was" message).

I have a fresh install here: http://www.roswellrotary.com/ - no field to enter keywords.
Same thing here - http://dime64.dizinc.com/~antiquea/ - no field to enter keywords
