Hi folks!

I've got a webserver whch only has
MySQL-Version: 5.0.45
PHP-Version 5.2.5-0.dotdeb.1

I installed the newest package of etomite, the installation worked fine.

After installation, it told me to go now to the manager.
After clicking the manager link i just get these error-messages:

Warning: include_once(quotes_stripper.inc.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/web7/html/etomite_test/manager/index.php on line 65

Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'quotes_stripper.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.') in /var/www/web7/html/etomite_test/manager/index.php on line 65

Warning: include_once(config.inc.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/web7/html/etomite_test/manager/index.php on line 102

Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'config.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.') in /var/www/web7/html/etomite_test/manager/index.php on line 102
Failed to create the database connection!

Can someone help me on this, or are the versions of mysql and php just too high?

Thanks in advance!

Without more server information it's hard to say... My initial guess would be that the file and directory permissions are the culprit here... If the permissions are too tight or too loose you will experience problems similar to the ones you are having... Some servers don't like 0777 permissions at all... It's pretty much hit and miss on what limits each host permits... If all files uploaded and you didn't get any errors during the install then I would venture to guess that your PHP and MySQL are fine and that it will be just a matter of adjusting file permissions enough to make the server happy...

Hi Ralph!

Thanks for your answer!
So, what do you think would be the best CHMOD I should use instead of the 777?

Thanks

EDIT:
I tried 666, 766, 676, 667 on the directory itself and the php files in it,
didn't work either.

I have had good luck with 0664 on most servers... Note the leading zero - it can make a difference if you are using the command line...

When I try to login as manager I get the following errors:

The PHP version installed on the server is PHP 5.2.5. Who knows the solution?
