Well this is the official "rebirth" process of the Etomite CMS - We've got a lot planned over the next year.

The first stage is a new temporary site design (logo courtesy of n-vent.com) - I've spent the day working on it, and there's still the documentation site to convert over. If you can't see the new design, make sure you do a hard-refresh on your browser.

If you notice any layout bugs, reply to this post and I'll fix them and then delete your post.

edit: implemented google ads for non-logged in members straight below the first post of each thread
edit: fixed radio checkbox css bug
edit: fixed javascript that wasn't loading, including popups
edit: returned the :eto: emoticon, and implemented others
edit: upgraded IPB to the latest version
edit: upgraded IDM to the latest version
edit: upgraded the tracker to the latest version

After playing with the site a bit I like the idea of giving the left column area back to the user for viewing by placing the main site menu at the top of the page... I think the old color theme was getting, well, old... Sweet...!!! B)

But the logo is yours ;) That's what I've taken the basis of the green from..

LOL :-)

I did too!

I hated it at first, especially the logo - BUT - now it seems more modern, cleaner and easier on the eye. The old site looked a bit hackneyed but was functionally perfect.

I like this new site now very much. Personally, the eto logo is cool, but the big black writing could probably be smaller, bit too 'in ya face'.

I love the 'looking to advertise' pop up arrow.

Paul

PS When reviewing a site design the last people you should ask are the users of the old design. However horrible, eto forums add so much value that we become attached to the design. Green was a shock change, but menus at the top are far more affective.

The blue version on the template site is really cool. Better than the green IMHO.

Paul.
