Hi!

Transferred a site. The site is working well. However received the following type of message in the "Manage Files" part of the "Administration" section within the Manager.

Directory listing for: /

To top level
Up one level

Filename
Modified
Filesize
Options

Warning: dir(/home/mywebsite/public_html/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/content/a/b/c/sitestuff/html/manager/actions/static/files.static.action.php on line 372

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/content/a/b/c/sitestuff/html/manager/actions/static/files.static.action.php on line 375

This part fo the Manager displays correctly on the web site that I am moving from.

Would like to correct this.

Any and all responses appreciated.

Check your file manager path in Etomite Configuration -> Micellaneous settings -> file manager path. Most likely this is incorrect.

Ditto what Jelmer said... You always need to verify all configuration settings after a migration within the filesystem as some of thse settings are stored in the database and were originally calculated during the installations initial settings routine, which is why you need to examine and save those settings during a fresh install... For a migration to a new location you must make manual adjustments to these settings...

Hi Jelmer & Ralph!

This is how I have the sites on the new server:
[1] Live Site in the root directory.
[2] Test Site in a Directory created within the root directory.
[3] Clean install Site in a Directory created within the root directory.

I took a peek into the Clean install Manager and looked at the "File Manager Path" in the "Micellaneous Settings" section.

The Box was empty???

I would have expected to see something like,
/home/MyWebSite/public_html/clean_install

Another reason I am confusedconfused is that on the original working install [before taking the web site live] on another server the File Manager area indicated a path to the directory of that particular etomite installation. For example:
/home/MyWebSite/public_html/etomite

Also, only the directories and files within that particular Etomite Directory were visible.

However, in this circumstance when I look at the File Manager area in the Clean Install I can see the contents of the root directory including the Live Web Site directories and files as well as the Test Site Directory.

I removed the path displayed in the File Manager Path box and left the box empty for the Live site.

When I checked the File Manager for the Live site the root directory was displayed.

Something doesn't seem quite right here, but I cannot figure it out. I would think that I should only see the files and directories in the File Manager area within that particular Etomite installation [If it is within a directory] and not all the files on the server [that is, in the Root part of the site].

What do you guys think about all this? What am I missing here? Or not missing???

Again, thanks in advance for your help.
