Hi there

I'm going to be moving a couple of Eto sites that were installed and are currently running on a server with php4x and mysql 4.1.12 with phpmyadmin 2.8.2.4. I'm wondering what if anything I need to do so that the sites work properly on the new server. Thanks.

I've recently done the same, and hit no issues whatsoever.

Just remember to CHMOD correct when you upload the files :)

That's great news. Sounds like I won't have additional work which I sure don't need with all of this. Thanks, Dean!

No Worries. Fingers crossed that the new setup doesn't have some unanticipated security settings setup that some people have had issues with......

Most PHP5 installs seem to work just fine... I have, however, had issues with Etomite running on some PHP5 servers due to hosting company paranoia... Such instances have been few and far between, but they do happen... Most reputable hosting companies should be flexible enough to run Etomite...
