any news on the development?
is the Etomite 0.6.1.5 gonna be released soon?
i've been monitoring it since november 2007, still on the 0.6.1.4 stage.
i wanted to know if i should move to another CMS or keep waiting for 0.6.1.5...
any estimates: 1 week? 1 month? 1 year?
question

Unfortunately, due to earning money (i.e. keeping a roof over your head is more important than pushing 0615 out), the release date has been pushed back. I know that Ralph's got a lot on at the moment, so I can't (and won't) give a guesstimate.

Rest assured that nobody wants to see 0.6.1.5 rolled out more than me... Once it is out I will be concentrating on the next major release... As I've mentioned in previous posts, I'm way behind on code base development from where I want to be...
But, on the flip side of the coin, I can attest that Etomite is fully suitable for real world development... I am currently being kept quite busy writing custom code within Etomite for several other Etomite developers... We've pushed the limits on some projects and I have two more rather large projects in the hopper right now... If I can get permission to do so I would like to provide a galley of screen-shots from some of the projects I've been working on... Most of the work has been in the form custom data management interfaces and data search panels... Due to the fact that they are back end components, even though they run in the front end of Etomite, requiring authentication, I need permission to share those views... Maybe one or more of these other developers can elaborate on what we have been up to... I'm just a hired gun, so to speak...
Anyway, having been so buried in actually using Etomite every day, rather than just writing code base, I have been able to get a better grasp of what Etomite can and cannot do, although I haven't found much that it cannot do, which will help to insure that future versions of Etomite will be even better than what we are using now...
Hang in there... I think you'll see that it'll be worth the wait...
