Can you use etomite to create/edit a blog? If so, does the blog have to be on its own domain name? for example if I had a blog at bergsten.com vs. bergsten.blogspot.com?

and is there a benefit to using etomite with a blog?

I'm sure you guys are sick of me asking these dumb questions.

There are several different methods of using Etomite to manage a blog... There are no intentions to have Etomite overtake other more blog-centric packages, however...

Several snippets have been written which can handle personal blogging... It all boils down to how elaborate your blogging needs are...

The NewsListing snippet can handle the listings if you want to create new content from the Etomite manager...

Some folks have used GuestBook snippets for blogging by only displaying the entry form if they are logged in using one of the authentication snippets... Some of these GuestBook snippets use a database table for storage while others make use of the built-in messaging system for storage and maintenance...

Or, if you are really adventurous, and want to really learn Etomite, you could write your own blog snippet... The beauty of Etomite is that it offers so many ways to accomplish your goals...
