document id limits

It seems that if I get more than 999 documents I could have a problem. Is this so?

What makes you think you would be limited to 999 documents...??? With the id field being an int(11) I don't think you'll run out of id's... Now, if you were to attempt to create more than 4,294,967,295 documents you might have problems... Yeah, that's really 4.2 BILLION documents... There are already several sites with thousands of documents... Oh, and before you ask, that number of documents doesn't slow Etomite down either...

I did not know. I read a while ago like a year and a half in one post that etomite had no limitation but the id field did. I was just concerned I would back my self into a cornner.
