Hey Guys!

I just moved my Etomite Site from my localhost to an external server in the WWW.
And now I have there a problem with loging in into the manager.
When I now insert username, password and sicherheitscode I get the problem "The securitycode you entered didn't validate! Please try to login again!"
Why is this so?
On my localhost is everything fine, but not in the internet.

Please help me!!!

Best regards, Alex!

Hi Alex,

Welcome to Etomite!

I've had the same experience on my windows server.

I'm not sure why it happens, but I have the impression that sometimes the image is displayed from the cache.
So the image you see doesn't have to be the image that should be displayed.
Hence the security code is incorrect.

Things you can do to check if this is the case:
Clean your local cache files (temporary Internet files)
Delete cookies from you Etomite connection
Set the Etomite manager link in you trusted websites.

And try again.
IF you can connect now, that was probably the case.

If not try to reload the page.
If everything else fails, there is an option to turn this off, but that's last resort.

Good luck!

We really need the information requested above before proceeding further... Without knowing what we're dealing with we'd just be guessing... The problem could be sessions related, GD related, or any one of a myriad of other reasons...

Hey Guys!

I'm so sorry, that I have not replied for so long, but in the last few weeks I had some personal problems, and so I couldn't response to your posts.

The problem I had with the securitycode was caused by my server. I don't know what the actual problem was, but my provider solved it.

But thank you very much, also for your really fast replies to my question!

It's really good to have such a good support-forum!

Keep on going!

Best regards, Alex!
