The calendar script being used in the Etomite Manager is being replaced in Prelude v1.0 and I will be removing all of the Tigra Calendar code from the code base... If this is going to cause problems with existing snippets I need to know ASAP... We can either make the code available as a separate download or I can assist in converting existing snipept code to use the new calendar code, jscalendar-1.0... The files in manager/media/tigra_calendar/ aren't actually being used anyway and the old old version of Tigra used originally was all hacked up and not efficient at all...
Now, before anyone starts spinning this thread about how I should have used an AJAX calendar instead of jscalendar-1.0, don't... I picked jscalendar-1.0 for several reasons... First, it is very versatile which means that it can be used both in the code base as well as in templates, snippets, and chunks easily... Second, it is well documented... Third, I was able to add in an Etomite configuration option which allows for several different date formats - something not easily achieved with other scripts... Fourth, I can send a unix timestamp back for a form input rather than having to convert a human readable date into a timestamp for storage in the MySQL database, reducing code logic... And, finally, AJAX is just Javascript, anyway, and I'm not out to Wow anyone with buzzwords...
If you have questions or concerns, now is the time to address them... This is not a wish-list, however...

I had a look to see how easy it would be to adapt zcalendar to use it and assuming this is the file, the hidden form field with alternate date formating is a real bonus. This may just be the motivation I needed to re-do zcalendar and cut the code down by half. It shouldn't be too hard to adapt it to suit....If this is going to cause problems with existing snippets I need to know ASAP...

Yes, Cris, that is the right jscalendar-1.0 package... I'm liking it, so far... Just working my way through a minor quirk at the moment...
