if you are asking why does your calendar snippet not work between upgrades, does it make use of the old calendar that's no longer shipped with eto? i think ralph made an announcement some time ago..

Dean,
I found the discussion about 'Zcalendar' on this forum.
It's a pity that the Zcalendar from Chrisd can't be used. Is it possible to remove the whole discussion about the snippets 'Zcalendar', it's very confusing.
I think a useful calendar-snippet is very atractive for school Etomite users. I've had a request for developing a number of school Etomites websites. The users in the the schools think it's very important that they have a kind of (Joomla) calendar module. Is it possible for someone to develop this snippet.
If anyone is willing to do so, I will sponsor Etomite for two months .....Etomite can only get better....

If the Javascript calendar is the only real stmbling point for zcalendar then it shouldn't be too difficult to integrate jscalendar in place of the original... Another option would be to upload the resources for the old calendar, but probably more bother than it's worth... The integration of the old calendar code in the Etomite code base was rough at best...

I'm happy to have a look at integrating the old zcalendar into the V1.0 codebase. I am aware of the many shortfalls of the existing zcalendar and would love to re-write it using OO and increase it's functionality, however, my other project takes precedence at the moment. I will look at the intgration this weekend for legacy support only.

I've read the forum stories about Zcalendar and 'integrating Google calender' in Etomite.
It's very easy to integrate this calender in the 1.1 Etomite version.
Take care of your projects Cris and thanks.

Kind regards
