Let's say you think the TabMixPlus extension is too sluggish. But you would like to open bookmarks from your bookmark bar (or menu) in a new menu?

Rightclick a bookmark, properties, and change location to:

java script:%20void%20window.open('http://www.site.com')

Remove the space from "java script" (IPB does this). Do notice there's no "/" at the end of the URL! And make sure you set open new pages in new tab in FF prefs.

Many thanks to http://groups.google...779944018a69146

I simply Right-Click on the bookmark and select "Open in a New Window" or "Open in a New Tab" which can also be accomplished with Ctrl+Left Click (most modern browsers)...
