Hi guys

I am having an issue uploading files using the file manager. I have had a fair bit of experience with file uploads in the past, so all my server php.ini settings are correct which is set to allow up to 200mb uploads. It all works using a different php upload script without any problems.

I don't need 200mb uploads at the moment only 20mb so I would have thought that i wouldn't need to change anything server wise. I can't seem to find anything in any settings within the etomite manager, but I have tried changing the $uploadmaxsize value in the file.static.action.php file. This didn't make any difference.

I am using etomite 0.6.1.4 any help would be very much appreciated.

Sorry!! I have posted this in the wrong support section, not sure how to move it...

I don't know if this will help, but in the Miscellaneous settings of the Etomite Configuration panels, there is an input box for Max Upload Size.

At least, there is in the latest version.

This may only set the variable you are manually setting anyway. I have never used this setting myself.

Hope this helps.

Paul.

PS You really should upgrade :-)

Before we go any further: I suggest you upgrade your install. No guarantees, but your problem might just have been fixed in one of the 1.x releases!

This quirk has most likely been fixed in the v1.x code base... Older releases had the maximum filesize hard coded... The v1.x code base supports setting changes within the Etomite configuration panel... If no setting is provided, Etomite will use the default set in php.ini...

Of course there are a lot more improvements than that in the new release too... Still a few minor quirks that we're working on, however...

Thanks for your help

I will try the upgrade and see what happens.
Cheers.
