Hi,

I've searched all through the forums, but I can't find anything about adding exceptions to the visitor logging function so that I can exclude my own visits and hits from the logs. How can I do this?

Thanks,

Dan

The visitor logging function is no longer being maintained. The reason behind this is that there are far better solutions in external packages. I don't think that visitor logging will return in the next major release.

I advise you to switch to an external package (e.g. phpMyVisites) for you statistics. But if anyone has an easy fix for the logging feature of Eto, feel free to comment!

Thanks.

Do you know of any specific package that will integrate with the Etomite manager?

I am not aware of any statistics packages that would integrate into the Etomite Manager... Integration is just too difficult with the current code base...

Most statistics packages are stand-alone and are much more robust than the current statistics code... Some domain control panels actually have nice statistics software... Other than that, phpMyVisites is a nice alternative, as Jelmer mentioned...

Save yourself the hassle, just use google analytics... drop the GA javascript into your footer and you're done.

I was about to suggest the same... Google Analytics is free and easy to use :)
