Hello,

this morning i type in my Name and Password and.... nothing, no errormsg,

I check my Name and Password in the Database, no change.
I copy the index.php from my HDD to the server and overwrite the old,
I copy the Name and Password from an other Projekt in the Database and try again... nothing.
I ask my Provider, if he change anything in the Serverconfiguration, ok we have weekend, i wait for response...

But what happened after i hit the Login Button? Nothing, look here, a small Video

UPDATE...

after a few hours on my Bilke, i have a idea, make a new install.... ok i copy eto in an new folder (/100/) on my Server and start the installation... the result was the follow Error:
Checking if sessions are properly configured: Failed! look here i have update the Video too.

If your site is having session problems, like it did the last time, then that would explain your problem with logins... If your server spec's are still the same as the last time I can go in and take another look if you like... Everything just magically worked last time...

today, i thought it was a good idea take a look on my Homepage

I found the follow Error MSG:
« Error »
Etomite encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« PHP Parse Error »

PHP error debug
Error: Unknown: open(/var/lib/php5/sess_e47kl0e1qkkob2pj5jnprjrbsrpvuprp, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13)
  Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2
  File: Unknown
  Line: 0

Parser timing
  MySQL: 0.0640 s s	(47 Requests)
  PHP: 0.1154 s s
  Total: 0.1794 s s

I think i must wait for the Support from my Hoster.

Or if it is possible to make any Change in the Code to define the sessionfolder myself e.g /root/html/eto/session/

OK UPDATE

In the file /html/eto/manager/includes/config.inc.generic.php i can setting the custom session paths. I change it to:
"/srv/www/htdocs/web26/html/eto/assets/cache"
no "/" on the end...
Change the Line 35 in true
Check if permission 777 (OK)
Uplode the File new.. without any success

i can't login in the Manager and on the Homepage i found the same Error Message like before

you can enable custom sessions within the config file...

but yeah, a sessions problem on the host looks like the cause...

Your problem appears to be due to mis-configured server permissions which are cascading to cause session problems... Definitely an issue that your host needs to get resolved even if you get custom sessions working...
