Hello,

I've just upgraded my test system to IE8. Now I can't put any filelinks via Xinha Filemanger into etomite documents - the new filelink is not placed into the editor window but just over the menu line...

I use Etomite 1.1, Xinha dl'ed from Etomite Homepage with VertrigoSrv (Apache 2.x & MySql 5.x)

Compatibility Mode of IE8 doesn't change anything

Any hints?
Any help would be appreciated...
IE7 works perfect...

We'll try to look into this issue but it will most likely take a patch from the Xinha camp to resolve the problem... They may have some related information in their support forums... The first thing I'll try, when I get the chance, is to see whether the issue can be duplicated when using Xinha in stand-alone mode...

I wonder if now (or with 1.2) would be a good time to upgrade our Xinha version?

Just wanted to note that this has become an issue for 3 of my sites. (more of an issue is that 3 users insist on IE... but that's another discussion) I spent some time at the Xinha support forum but am not sure what xinha version is integrated to eto so i can't really narrow down the issue to a reported bug. I gave it a shot, at least. Ralph, how can i help troubleshoot this?

I too am starting to run into this...
All of my sites use xinha. Ralph, would monetary compensation help you update our xinha package? Let me know.

As you know, it always helps... Right now everyday cash flow has been my major concern, unfortunately... I'm not ignoring Etomite, just trying to survive... Not that I'm whining... Well, yeah, I'm whining...

You know what to do... send me an estimate. Perhaps everyone in this thread can pitch in :)

As a quick update on this issue, the Xinha 0.96 Phoenix Beta release is almost fully integrated into Etomite v1.x... However, once the required files are uploaded older releases will no longer work unless all f the replaced files are reverted back to the older versions... The Xinha code base has undergone some major changes in an effort to keep up with newer web technologies... As an example, the integration of toggling the Stylist plugin was quite difficult and after getting the code working properly I posted the new requirements in the Xinha support forums as even the author of the Stylist plugin wasn't sure how to get button working... I literally have days, and nights, of my time tied up in this new integration...
