i have a website built using the etomite cms that has 'crashed' today. the original web programmer is uncontactable and i'm hoping to get the site back up asap. the error message is

mysql_fetch_row():supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/http etc on line 86 query failed: can't open file: etomite_sitecontent.MYI' (errno:145).

i have limited knowledge of the etomite cms programming - all the neccessary files are on the server - i'm assuming a glitch has gotten in and etomite can't communicate with server.

any help would be appreciated. thanks

Login to your hosting control panel, look for phpmyadmin, and repair the mysql tables... and cross your fingers

ok - i've logged in but couldn't find the phpmyadmin - i found a database but no options to edit /repair or manage it. like i stated earlier i only have a basic understanding of how it works. assuming i find it how would you 'repair the tables' ?
