Hi all,

Over here: http://www.etomite.c...__1

there seems to be a discussion of how one could run some fairly primitive versioning schema. I am wondering if there is a way to have Etomite save and track versions of documents automatically (i.e., I upload a document named foo.doc today, I upload another, slightly modified foo.doc tomorrow and the system just stores both versions tracking who uploaded them, when, etc.).

Thanks for any and all input on this one (and yes, I am a complete novice in the Etomite world so my questions may be completely dumb:)

Boris.

This is not available currently, however I have written my own code that stores versions of uploaded files (not etomite web pages). I can give it to you, but it will take significant modification to work on your site and you will have to write your own UI to display them /restore / edit / delete versions. If you are a newbie with good php skills you would be OK, but if you have limited php this won't suit you.
