Am just planning a new website and thought Etomite will be perfect for this one. Not having used Etomite directly myself for a fair amount of time (it's all been opencart and wordpress recently) and feeling a bit rusty, was wondering what other types of sites people use or have used Etomite for.

I think the results might be quite interesting so please take the time to answer, it is multi choice so pick any that apply.

Thanks,

Paul.

PS Have just thought that there is no way to indicate volume, or if they were successful or not, which would have been interesting too.

PPS Also just playing with the poll functionality a bit. It is very good.

Hi Paul,

I've been working a lot with Etomite these days.

I just finished a site conversion to Etomite, and everything is looking great!

Made a special Gallery snippet and Blog snippet, and all is working great in Etomite,
I still have some minor problems but that's because I used to make in my own altered CMS, but I'm backing Etomite for the full 100% now.

Curious?

Have a look at www.safeunderdark.com ^_^

Edit: I have voted for 'A website for users to log into and manage content' -- I maybe not answered correctly:
users can login to add content to the blog, so they add content to the site this way, but NOT in the manager it that's what you mean by this  .
just posted, and it struck me.

Hi Ed,

Yes, I did mean users logging into the eto manager to add content, I suppose the question isn't as clear as it could have been. Could you delete your vote and then vote again?

I took a look at your site, very nice. I really like the star voting system, was that yours or a script from elsewhere?

Thanks for voting in the poll.

Paul.

No need for that, I have site that use the manager to add/change content, but I was just wondering :)

Paul.

It is originally not made by me, it was a source I had on my drive for a long time, originally (Unobtusive) AJAX Rating Bars v 1.2.2
Is it abandoned/ not updated anymore. I have rewritten the code to be able to incorporated in the autogallery.
But the basic AJAx bit is mostly the same, as this works nice, and Amy likes it to :)

I've been supporting all of the etomite sites I've built in the past (small company websites), but for the last 1.5 years have been developing win Wordpress.

If you haven't voted yet, PLEASE DO!!!!! :P

@cathode
Yes, wordpress is amazing. I totally agree. Etomite still does some things better though :-)

Some function in Etomite are quite complex to achieve: in Wordpress is really easier.

As counterpart, for presentation websites, I really believe Etomite has got the simplicity required: I find the creation of a custom template is far more easy in Etomite than in Wordpress.

Ciao,
