Hi,

on a new installation I have the following error, when I want to save a template.

Deprecated: mysql_escape_string(): This function is deprecated; use mysql_real_escape_string() instead. in /www/htdocs/.../manager/processors/save_template.processor.php on line 79

Deprecated: mysql_escape_string(): This function is deprecated; use mysql_real_escape_string() instead. in /www/htdocs/.../manager/processors/save_template.processor.php on line 80

Same at snippnet: save_snippet.processor.php

and chunks: save_htmlsnippet.processor.php

Etomite Version: 1.1.

PHP-Version: PHP Version 5.4.9-nmm1

The template is saved and can get on documents. Cleared Cache, setting file permissions in cache to 777 - but nothing works.

Thx for help.

Claudia

Unfortunately at this moment in time Etomite is not compatible with this version of PHP (i'm not sure if it's 5.4.x in general); I've had the same problem myself and had to downgrade my PHP to 5.3.

If your host supports multiple versions of PHP, choose it in the control panel.

Dean thx, I only can downgrade with htaccess - but if I do this - serveral more warnings - session handler and so on - I try to install Etomite again - its a new installation so no problem - I give you feedback.

Regards

Claudia

My provider says:

Make an .htaccess with AddHandler php53-cgi .php

Thanks for help. I love Etomite and I dont want to go to another CMS -. they are all so complicate!

The tmp error could be a problem with the tmp folder, is it full?

Ah in which case, looks like your host fixed the /tmp issues ;)
