Uploading a file with an invalid character (like a single quote forinstance) adds a backslash before the character into the filename andsaves it to the server. In at least one particular LAMP setup, thisfile cannot be deleted, renamed, or altered (even with FTP), and anasty side-effect is that the Etomite file manager AND the xinha filelink/uploader tool does not work, even to select another file forinsertion into a page.
